Date for your diaries – Norwich Food & Drink Festival 2018
It’s back! Our flagship event, the Norwich Food & Drink Festival, will once again take place on Father’s Day (Sunday 17th June) in and around The Forum, St Peter's Street and Bethel Street...
Last year our headline chefs, busy producers and, in particular, Battle of the Banger barbecuing butchers really had to dig deep as they worked in extraordinary soaring temperatures – but the smiles were ever-present and our ‘Splat the Dad’ (and indeed anyone else who was too hot and game for a giggle) sponge throwing competition provided a welcome relief! Come sun or rain this year, we can promise you another brilliant day.
Our producers’ street market (sponsored by Lovewell Blake) will offer over 40 local producers selling a huge variety of products made on our doorstep, the exciting and diverse street food market will return, as will the popular cookery demonstration theatre hosted by a number of top Norfolk chefs, the children’s Foodie Fun Zone and farm machinery exhibits, Adnams’ pop-up festival bar and, of course, the legendary Battle of the Bangers competition for local butchers (sponsored by Hargreave Hale).
We are thrilled that Cozens-Hardy solicitors are sponsoring this event for a fourth consecutive year. We love working with all our sponsors because, without exception, they all contribute to the Norfolk Food & Drink success story. And, on that note, Cozens-Hardy have asked us to find out what attendees like most (and least) about the Norwich Food & Drink Festival. If you fancy giving us some much-valued feedback, you can email your thoughts to firstname.lastname@example.org. Everyone who emails with an opinion by 15th February will be entered into a draw to win a hamper full of Norfolk food and drink goodies.
