Family Fortunes! Walsingham Farms Shop supports Cozens-Hardy’s fundraising
As heart-warming proof of the support offered by the Norfolk Food & Drink family, Walsingham Farms Shop recently donated a lovely hamper by way of a raffle prize to Cozens-Hardy solicitors.
The firm’s staff voted to support the Alzheimer’s Society as their charity of the year and in fact Cozens-Hardy is working towards becoming a ‘Dementia Friendly Firm’, which recognises the great work that the firm is doing in this sector.
With September being World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, many fundraising activities took place in their offices on Opie Street in central Norwich. They held a cake sale, hosted a firm-wide lunchtime quiz, sold Alzheimer’s Society wristbands and pin badges and enjoyed a dress-down day. And the highlight of their fundraising was a raffle to win that super hamper from Walsingham Farms Shop. During September, Cozens-Hardy staff raised a brilliant total of £233.94 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
And the firm’s charitable support hasn’t been restricted to the office and regular office hours (pictured above are solicitors Naomi Newell and Claire Roberts, resplendent in their day-glo jackets, volunteering recently at the annual Norwich Alzheimer's Memory Walk held at the Royal Norfolk Showground.)
