Hurrah for HarFest!
Saturday 6 October 2018 sees the return of HarFest to Norwich Cathedral. Organised by the RNAA in association with Woodforde’s this free one-day Autumn Fayre is all about celebrating Norfolk’s Harvest.
Now in its third year, HarFest is a free family event in Norwich City Centre which celebrates food, farming and the countryside and includes a farmers’ market which demonstrates a range of local produce. It is organised by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) in association with Woodforde’s.
Live entertainment is an important part of HarFest and this year guests can enjoy local bands who will keep the festival atmosphere going while they enjoy a pint from the Woodforde’s Bar.
Guests can also explore farming machinery displays and animals as well as meeting Mr Mawkin, the friendly scarecrow, who will be bringing a range of animals from his farm including some of Norfolk’s best-loved livestock, big and small.
Once again, the Cloisters will be host to the Farmers Market where visitors can sample, taste and buy from Norfolk artisan food and drink producers including Crush Foods, St Giles Gin and So Sweet.
