It’s in the Can!
If you were in Norwich City centre on Sunday 18th June this year you can't have failed to notice our flagship event, The Norwich Food & Drink taking place in and around The Forum...
Sponsored by those lovely people at Cozens-Hardy solicitors and supported by the Norwich Business Improvement District, the event featured Battle of the Bangers, a producers street market, cookery demonstration theatre, foodie fun zone, street food, Splat the Dad, tractor display and amazing live music. So there really was something for everyone who wanted to join us to celebrate Father's Day.
At the heart of the event, transforming the bottom of the steps across the full width of The Forum was the Adnams Pop Up Festival Bar. Beautifully presented with white picket fences and topiary from those clever folks at Posh Plants, the bar was a central hub for our musicians to showcase their talents and our guests to enjoy a well deserved 'cold one' on the hottest day of the year so far. Of course Adnams put on their usual, well-loved range of ales and fizz, but we were also very excited that the bar was one of the first outings for their newest product to hit the market - G&T in a can!
So visitors to the festival were able to enjoy the distinctive taste of an ice cold Copper House Gin expertly blended with a tonic designed to bring out the best in the gin - all served in our event-safe plastic glasses in perfect measures, from the new 250ml cans. Perfect for festival season!
