Lloyd Addison’s Moveable Feast in aid of Parkinson’s UK – Ticket Alert!

The extraordinarily successful Lloyd Addison’s Moveable Feast is gearing up for its 18th year and we want Norfolk Food & Drink supporters to be the first to know when tickets go on sale!

Well, we say ‘first’. In fact, previous Moveable Feast diners have been given a few weeks of priority booking but, as of 1st March, tickets are open to the general public. And if you have never experienced this most enjoyable multi-restaurant charity dining event in Norwich, now’s your chance!

The event is a lasting legacy of former councillor and successful restaurateur Lloyd Addison. Lloyd lived with Parkinson’s for nearly 20 years and felt passionate about raising vital research funds for Parkinson’s UK, as well as raising the profile of Norwich’s independent restaurant scene. He came up with the concept of a multi-restaurant dining event, whereby diners eat each one of three courses in a different city centre restaurant – Lloyd Addison’s Moveable Feast – with all the profits going to Parkinson’s UK.

Our joint title sponsors, Cozens-Hardy solicitors, have sponsored this event for the past seven years; last year an incredible £24,500 was raised for the charity.

It really is a fun evening! Adnams brilliantly sponsor a fizz reception at The Forum (the space being kindly provided FOC by The Forum), from where all 1100 diners are subsequently sent on their way by Lloyd’s widow, Cynthia, who runs this event each year with a tiny team of dedicated volunteers.

If you wish to get involved this year, the event takes place on Tuesday 18th September from 6pm and you can buy tickets online at www.moveablefeastnorwich.org from 1st March. We hope to see you there!
