Oink Oink! It’s that time of year again!

Yes, it’s back! The popular, pig-fuelled free family fun festival that is Porkstock takes place on Saturday 14th October, in its new home at the Royal Norfolk Showground.

The daytime festival is all about having lots of fun and laughter while celebrating Norfolk food and drink and raising as much money as possible for the event’s charity, Nelson’s Journey. There will be lots of music, chef demonstrations, local producers’ wares, games to be played if you bring your little piglets, plenty of Norfolk craft beers to sup and, of course, a plethora of porky delights to indulge in.

And then when the day’s excitement is drawing to a close, the evening ‘knees-up’ begins. Fantastic live music over two stages combines with a vast array of local beers, ciders, prosecco and G&T providers - and organisers assure us that there will be more tasty pork treats than ever before. Doors open for the evening ticket-only event at 7pm and, you have been warned, the finish will be ‘late’! There are just a handful of tickets left for the evening shindig, priced at £20 each (+ admin fee) – so ‘hurry you over’ to the Porkstock website to secure if you are interested.

Whether you attend the daytime festival or indulge in the Porkstock night time frivolities, we guarantee you will have a ball! Last year the event raised over £10,000 for Nelson’s Journey, a local charity that supports bereaved children and young people. Best of luck to the all-volunteer organising committee on another ‘crackling’ year (sorry!).
