Promotion at Brasted’s
We were delighted to be able to share the news that Ashley Bush has been promoted to the role of Restaurant Manager at Brasted’s, at the tender age of just 21!
We think this is wonderful as it shows that no matter what age you are, dedication, the right attitude and passion can get you where you want in life.
And Ashley has certainly shown a commitment to his career in Front of House. He studied at City College Hotel School in all areas of hospitality, from cookery, food & beverage, hospitality, supervision and leadership and has acquired his Level Three in City & Guilds in Hospitality & Leadership. So he has a broad knowledge across all areas of catering. However his passion is front of house, so throughout his studies he worked to gain experience, securing positions in some fantastic restaurants including Inn on the Green and the City College Debut Restaurant. He has even worked abroad at Cafe Landtmann in Vienna.
Since joining Brasted’s in 2016 as Restaurant Supervisor Ashley has been mentored by owners Nick Mills and Chris ‘Buzz’ Busby, who have guided him through every area of the business and this close support from such industry professionals shines through, as Ashley could not be more customer focused. Many of you will know that Nick is one of our fabulous NFAD patrons and Buzz is a multi-award winning chef, so Ashley has definitely learnt from some of the best!
And there is no question that he delights guests with his charm and unobtrusive service and Nick and Buzz have been wholly impressed by his commitment and professionalism. In particular they are delighted at the way he has pulled together such a committed front of house team, leading by example, to deliver the multi-award winning service for which Brasted’s is so well known.
So from all of us here at NFAD we congratulate Ashley and wish him all the very best with his future at Brasted’s.
