Wells Crab House does the double at Norfolk Food & Drink Awards!

Proudly Norfolk member Wells Crab House Seafood Restaurant scooped arguably the two most covered titles at this year’s Eat Norfolk Food & Drink Awards. Being crowned the winner of both Best Restaurant and Outstanding Front of House categories is a huge honour and is testament to the husband and wife led team’s desire to create ‘a restaurant full of creativity, love and passion!

The restaurant’s ethos is to create a friendly, relaxed dining experience centred around the very best that our coastline has to offer. Yes, there is a smattering of ‘landlubber’ dishes on their monthly menus but the passion here is firmly for locally sourced produce.

As a Proudly Norfolk member the provenance of their food is absolutely key to the restaurant’s offering and their talented kitchen brigade uses crabs and mussels from Andy Frary on his Andorra Star 2 boat, lobsters from Billy Ward on his Malfreen Boat and oysters from Richard Loose from Brancaster.
